Christian Eder is an experienced Business Development Manager with a unique blend of expertise in both startups and large corporations. He is currently Manager for Business Development & Innovation at EIT Manufacturing, Europe’s leading innovation ecosystem for the manufacturing industry. In this role, he helps businesses bring innovative technologies to market while driving sustainable economic and societal impact.

His career includes both strategic and operational leadership roles in established companies such as Continental and hofer powertrain, as well as significant experience in the startup environment. In a dynamic tech startup, he served as Vice President Business & Project Development, where he was responsible for customer acquisition and the development of products and processes for the certification of autonomous systems. Additionally, as Managing Director, he led the company’s expansion into the German market.

Beyond his industrial expertise, he has also been actively involved in the academic sector. At Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, he co-developed innovative training programs for digitalization in agriculture and coordinated market access initiatives.

Holding a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Christian Eder combines technical expertise with in-depth business development and innovation management skills. His strength lies in identifying technological trends and helping companies successfully leverage them.
