Verena Thonemann

Head of Operational Transformation | BENTELER Group

Verena Thonemann studied industrial engineering/mechanical engineering at the BENTELER Group, gaining extensive experience in the automotive and steel processing industries. Most recently, she held various management positions in logistics and production and, last year, founded the Operational Transformation division, which focuses on cross-functional project management and lean management. She has been involved with the topic of New Work since 2020. Together with other colleagues within her company, she launched a New Work initiative, which, among other things, led to the development of digital shift planning as a flagship project. She remains the project manager for this project to this day.
